Welcome Spring
Let's make our community a better place!
Dear Friends
Our purpose at First Baptist Church of Keokuk is to be all about God’s greater glory. We want to see the Lord magnified (Psalm 34:3) more than we want to see the pews filled. We will not sell out to the spirit of the age to gain attendance. One theologian (Albert Mohler) reminds us that in our Bibles we find a grand, sweeping story that takes us from Genesis to Revelation, from Creation to Consummation, from Darkness to Light, and from Death to Life. That Big Story is the story to which our Little Stories are accountable. We teach the Bible’s history, story, psalms and parables not just for the sake of head knowledge. We want to help you see where your Little Story intersects with God’s Big Story. We can help you see how you can enter that Big Story that God has written.
So pay us a visit on Sunday. We would love to hear your story and share the Story of God with you! Thanks for visiting our website.
Sincerely,
Pastor Bob Brandhagen

...to be a blessing to the City of Keokuk. We do that through our Worship services, Bible studies, newspaper and radio messages, and partnerships with other Churches and community organizations.
Also we recently started a food pantry and clothes rack that is open at the church on the third Thursday of each month from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. If you are in need we might be able to help!
Are you passionate about learning and living the word of God? Let us know! There is a place for you. We're excited to have you join us!
Our Sunday night and Wednesday night youth Worship services have not restarted yet, but we plan to do so this fall.
Thank you for joining us!
We understand people's need to feel secure but wanting to attend Church service.
For this reason we broadcast our regular service every Sunday at 10 am on FM 90.1!
You must be less than a mile from the Church.
